Website Development

This week we wrapped up our work on websites. Students created websites using weebly.com. This is a departure from my usual use of wordpress.com for this assignment. Weebly proved to be extremely user friendly, requiring very little instruction to get a real website up and running with plenty of bells and whistles. A few kids would have liked a little more freedom in their layout and design options, but overall, this is a great tool for students to build a website. You can add pictures, videos, documents, and more. This assignment gives students the freedom to create a website on any topic they would like, so websites range from sports to cooking to science.
